Teen Driver Education — $419
- Get started for just $279 (8 hour class)
- Pay as you go — $70 at each of the two driving lessons
- Total cost $279 + $70 + 70 = $419
State mandated program for students under the age of 17 looking to obtain a restricted driver's license - 8hrs classroom and 6hrs behind the wheel driving, plus an insurance discount certificate which will save the student at least 15% on their vehicle insurance until they turn 25. After 25 years of age, insurance rates are reduced and insurance discount certificate will provide a smaller discount. We accept payment in cash - $279 paid the date of the class and $70 paid at each 3hr behind-the-wheel driving lesson.
Fast Track — $65
For students who are in a hurry to complete their programs, we offer a Fast Track program that guarantees the student is able to complete their behind the wheel driving time within a week of their class date. Space in Fast Track is extremely limited, so mention it during registration to ensure you're able to get a spot!
The fee for Fast Track is in addition to the cost of the teen driver education program.Additional 3 hour Behind-the-Wheel Driving Lesson — $150
If you've completed our teen driver education program, but would like more time practicing, we offer additional behind the wheel lessons.

90-Minute Adult Behind the Wheel Driving Lesson — $150

1.5 Hour Adult Behind the Wheel Driving Lesson & Road Test — $210

Applicants under 18 must have held valid SC beginner's permit for at least 180 days to be eligible for a road test. Applicants 18 or older must have held a beginner's permit for at least 30 days to be eligible for a road test.
Road Test (student) — $60

Defensive Driving Class — $120
Defensive driving class may be mandated by traffic court. This class is not a Point Reduction course and will not remove points from your license once they have been added.

Fee For Replacement Certificates — $35
Email us at office@803driversed.com to request an additional copy of your insurance discount certificate or PDLA Form. Note that we can only provide additional copies for training completed within the past three years.
